Summary: Zyvo collects only the minimal contact and preference data needed to connect Hyderabad students with quiet study spaces and assist owners with member occupancy. We never sell your personal data.

1. Information We Collect

In compliance with the principle of Data Minimization (Section 5 of the Zyvo Security Specification and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), we only collect personal information required to deliver our marketplace services:

Student Inquiries: Full Name, WhatsApp phone number, email address, preferred Hyderabad locality, budget range, and study preferences.
Space Owners: Manager/Owner Name, business name, phone number, email address, property locality, and desk capacity.
Reservations: Desk tier, target space name, start date, and booking notes.
Technical Data: IP address (solely for abuse prevention and rate limiting) and marketing attribution source parameters (UTM tags).

2. How We Use Your Data

We process your data strictly for legitimate operational purposes:

To match students with verified study spaces and reading rooms in Hyderabad.
To transmit seat reservations directly to study-space management without intermediary broker fees.
To deliver polite WhatsApp notifications regarding desk allocation and renewal alerts.
To detect spam, brute-force attempts, and safeguard infrastructure.

3. Data Security & Storage

Zyvo implements defense-in-depth security standards:

Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is secured using TLS 1.3 encryption with HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS).
Access Controls: Database tables are secured with Row Level Security (RLS). Public visitors cannot enumerate or query other student or owner records.
Administrative Security: Admin panels require token authentication, strict IP rate limiting, and secure cookies.

4. Your Rights Under DPDP Act, 2023

You have full sovereignty over your personal data:

Right to Access: You may request a complete copy of data stored under your contact credentials.
Right to Rectification: You may request updates to outdated phone numbers or locality preferences.
Right to Erasure: You may request complete deletion of your records by emailing privacy@zyvoapp.in with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. Requests are honored within 48 hours.
